Toyota Axio parts we stock (October 2026)
The Axio is the saloon many Kenyans drive to work, run as a taxi or buy as a first family car. It is reliable, but bonnets, fenders and bumpers take a beating in Nairobi traffic. As of October 2026 we hold about 25 Axio lines. Most are ex-Japan parts, meaning original Toyota parts removed from cars in Japan, and most are single units, priced per piece and per side. Axio parts with a listed price run from KES 5,000 for an NZE141 headlight to KES 35,000 for a 2016 headlight. Everything we hold for the Axio is at https://partsultan.com/makes/toyota/axio
Which Axio do you have: NZE141 or NZE161?
Two Axio generations are common in Kenya, and their body parts are different. - E140 Axio: about 2006 to 2012. The usual chassis code is NZE141 (1.5 litre, two-wheel drive). NZE144 is the four-wheel-drive version. - E160 Axio: from about 2012. The usual chassis code is NZE161 (1.5 litre). NZE164 is the four-wheel-drive version and NKE165 is the hybrid. Mechanics often shorten these to "141" and "161", and our listings do the same. The E160 was facelifted more than once, and those later cars have different headlights and bumpers from the 2012 car. Your chassis code is the first part of the chassis number on your logbook, before the dash. What fits across generations, and what does not
- NZE141 and NZE161 do not swap. The body was redesigned in 2012, so bonnets, fenders, bumpers and lamps from a 141 will not fit a 161. - The early and late 141 are not always the same. The 141 had a facelift partway through its life, and a 2006 headlight and a 2008 headlight are listed separately at different prices. Give us your year and a photo. - Later 161s differ at the front. The facelifted E160 has different headlights and bumpers from the 2012–2014 car. - Fielder is not an Axio. The Fielder is the estate version and shares much of the engine and suspension, but its headlights are a different shape and its rear panels are completely different. We do not sell Axio body panels as Fielder parts. - Engine and service parts are shared more widely. The 1.5 litre 1NZ engine is used in the Axio, Fielder and some other Toyotas. We have one used 1NZ engine listed as an Axio part, price on request, but engine versions differ in sensors, wiring and mounts. A mechanic must confirm it matches your car before you buy it. Fitment checks before you buy
- Chassis code (NZE141, NZE161, NKE165 and so on) and year of manufacture from your logbook. - Side: LHS is the left-hand side and RHS the right, as seen from the driver's seat. - Fog lamp holes on the front bumper, if your car has fog lamps. - Colour: ex-Japan panels come in their original colour and may need painting. - Tabs, brackets and hinge points: check them in the photos.
Frequently asked questions
Will a 2014 fender fit my 2013 Axio? Both are E160 cars, so it is likely, but we confirm with a photo of your car before you pay rather than promise it. Do you have left-hand and right-hand fenders? Yes. As of October 2026 we have right-hand fenders at KES 8,000 and left-hand 161 fenders at KES 6,000. Are these parts new or used? Most are ex-Japan, meaning used original parts. Some sit in our Toyota dealer parts category. Ask whether a unit is new or used and we will tell you before you pay. More here: https://partsultan.com/blog/ex-japan-vs-new-vs-genuine-car-parts-kenya
